Is gelato just another name for Italian ice cream?

(spoiler: it's not!)

Filo's Gelato favicon

Gelato is typically served at a warmer temperature than ice cream and offers fewer calories, less sugar, more protein, and lower fat content per serving. Gelato is made with fresh cream, versus ice cream that is typically made with  butter — sometimes leaving your palate with a fatty, buttery coating. Gelato is slow-churned, so it contains less air than ice cream. This creates a richer flavor — and you’re getting more for your money!

Gelato for everyone

Filo's Gelato favicon

“I am not Vegan, but the Vegan Banana Peanut Butter may be my new favorite — this vegan gelato is extremely creamy. I can't even taste the difference.”

Tianna L.

"This is the real deal gelato! You can tell it's hand crafted by a master artisan. It's smooth as can be, and what I love most is that the natural flavors shine. Most commercial gelatos are so sweet, and all you can taste is the sugar, but not with Filo's Gelato.”

Rico R.

“My new guilty pleasure is gelato in bed, binge watching TV after a 12-hour shift. The quality is incredible and the taste is delicious.”

Kerry L.

"OH my GAWD, the BEST thing I've ever tasted. Local company and sweetest family ever!"

Jennifer C.

"INCREDIBLE. The flavor variety, the customer service (umm, who doesn't want to answer the door and have gelato handed to them?) and the TASTE. Wow. BLOWN AWAY. Best anniversary gift ever. We are customers for life."

Maria G.
