Is gelato just another name for Italian ice cream?
(spoiler: it's not!)
Gelato is typically served at a warmer temperature than ice cream and offers fewer calories, less sugar, more protein, and lower fat content per serving. Gelato is made with fresh cream, versus ice cream that is typically made with butter — sometimes leaving your palate with a fatty, buttery coating. Gelato is slow-churned, so it contains less air than ice cream. This creates a richer flavor — and you’re getting more for your money!
Gelato for everyone
